In 2013, Support Lao Children received “Government Approved Project Status” for our work in Northern Laos. This was a very significant Milestone as all of our projects are now sanctioned by the Lao Government. We can now execute our 3 year plan incorporating projects that have already been approved in liaison with the Education Department. This is the equivalent status of an NGO but is more significant to Support Lao Children because this means that we can continue to work within the Lao cultural guidelines that is so important to shaping the future of Lao children whilst maintaining their beautiful and peaceful culture.

We have recently extended our MOU so that our projects extend from 2017 through to 2020. The MOU covers our 3 school projects and 11 village projects.
